Do you ever?

Do you ever have days or weeks or months when you feel like the maid? The chef? The babysitter? And do you ever feel like you really really really stink at all these things? Or maybe you don't stink but you are just mediocre. And so everything you do gets a half-crap job And then if it isn't bad already, you meet a woman who does all of it and is really really really good at it.
Maybe its me. Or maybe its January. Or maybe it is that is raining and going to rain all week (yes, I know we are in a drought, but I have toddlers!) Or maybe it is that bike numero tres got stolen today. Either way, I think I've got the blues.
So to lighten the mood, I found a funny video about the never ending laundry. And because I am computer lame I can't attach a movie from you tube (any help?). Anyway, go to you tube and enter Hilary Weeks laundry. It is awesome and way worth 2 minutes of laughs.

Please don't judge me!

Dear friends,
I am sorry that I didn't get a SINGLE Christmas card out this year. I always start this giant to-do list and Christmas cards just keep getting shoved to the bottom. So this year, I am planning on getting my projects done during tax season so I will have plenty of time to get cards out....I hope.
So our year in a nutshell went something like this....Kevin graduated from BYU with his Masters of Accountancy degree! Hooray for Kevin! We then moved from Provo (which we miss dearly...Emma still asks if she can live there.) We spent the next 5 months living with my brother, Kevin's sister and my parents as we waited for Kevin's job to start. We then moved to CA in October. We love having our own space (finally!) and are trying adjust to the rat race out here (and the expenses!) We love you all and miss you! Have a Happy New Year!
Below are our picture updates (and the new pics I added to the sidebar) Cami pouted through most of hers. Emma was our great little poser!

Another for Grandparents

Here is the video of our girls open the coolest quiet book made by Grandma and Cease! You guys rock! And below is Emma crying opening her gift. She thought Santa forgot her because she hadn't gotten her bike...yet.

Christmas

Okay, computer is being dumb. So here is our Christmas out of order. We went to China Town during the break. So much fun! I could shop there all day. As you can see by their faces, the girls were done. Opening presents. Did you have twinner presents that you had open together? So fun!

Christmas morning in front of the tree. Yes mom, Santa wrapped in newspaper this year.
We had a big feast Christmas Eve; turkey, rolls, stuffing, Thanksgiving part II. (Rachel, I am wearing your flower in my hair. Thanks! I love them!)

More up close of the feast. Really it is just all of us looking and smiling.

This is the quilt I made for my sister for Christmas. This is a close-up. I embroidered parts of the quilt blocks.

That is the whole quilt. Remind me not to start a project like this in November again! I loved doing it. It was my first quilt and I quilted it too on my sewing machine.

For the Grandparents and anyone else interested

Here are a few videos of Christmas and opening presents. I figure this is mostly for Grandparents, but as always, you can browse away. The first one is Cami opening and trying on pants. The second video is the first sight of the tree.
