So I have been feeling a little depressed the past couple of days. I don't know if depressed is the right word, maybe just dealing with change. Anyway, so we have been looking for a van for awhile in the anticipation of our move to California. So a really great deal came up and we bought a Honda Odyssey. (It looks like the above pic, but used :) So that is the good news...yeah, we got a deal!
So here is where the depression comes in. I am feeling so old! Owning a minivan is like a huge milestone! I still feel 18, but everything around me reminds me that I am not. So I guess I am officially a mom, since I now own the minivan that goes with the job description. You know, mormom mom, minivan, a million kids. Yikes! So thanks for letting me vent out the aging process of life! And good luck to all those in the future who will cross this great milestone called getting older and having kids and driving huge cars! In the meantime, don't laugh at people driving minivans, it might be me!

all you need now is a trampoline! Yes, the concert was amazing. I dont mean to rub it in but hopefully you can go next year. Ps: Gev and Courtney kissed!!!Yup, they sure did. -Marshall
Hey, I hear you! We just bought a Honda Odyssey too! But you know, it is sooo nice having more room!
When you finally hit 33 it will really start to hit you because that's when the body really starts to act up! I wish I could look as good as you do Jen! Can't wait to hear about your California adventure.
We also just got a honda odyssey! Kenny hit a cow and totalled our car. Since we already have two kids, we figured we might as well just go for the minivan. I have to admit that I love, and it would be hard not to have the space now that I am used to it! So, I guess I am saying that I am proud to be mini-van, mormon, mama!! Enjoy! When are you moving to CA?
I know what you mean - I feel it all the time. We don't have a van yet but in a year and half we'll have to get one because we plan on adding to the family then.
We've had a minivan for two years now and I still laught at minivan drivers. It's the car you hate to love. It's so useful, but it's a minivan.
I can't wait to get a minivan..I think they are smart vehicles for families. By the way you are not old...but I know how you feel, I still feel sooo young!!
I am so on board with you and the whole minivan thing. We've been looking at vans too! Aaaahhhh...they are just so much more practical. It's a given...but a bummer! Cheer up Charlie!
Jenn! Hey it's me! You're old comp! The one that never keeps in touch! I'm sorry! But you're blog is cute. And I think cool people drive mini vans so it's ok! :) I'm sad to hear you're moving to Cali though. That means it will be even longer until I see you again! (My falt entirely!) anyway, keep in touch!
What a dork. Just kidding! I wrote about you on my blog--check it out! :)
Haha- That's awesome you got the van....and its true-they are SO useful! We're kind of the opposite in that we've had a mini-van for the past two and a half years but NO kids! Now that is LAME! But I love it too! We've never had to rent a truck or anything when we've moved- it has all fit in the van :-) Glad I found your blog...you are so cute and your girls are so fun!
