So Emma is quite a polite kid. She usually says please and thank-you fairly unprompted. She also thanks me almost every night for making dinner. (Thanks Kev for teaching her this one). Tonight was a little different.
Emma: Thanks for making dinner mom.
Me: Your welcome.
Emma: Mom, you make dinner a lot.
That made me feel good. My efforts are not going un-noticed!

haha, that is really good. I'm glad your efforts aren't going unnoticed. I doubt my kids will ever say that unless they are being sarcastic. :)
oops...sorry, I meant to say cute not good. It's good too though.
I love when kids say things that make let you know they appreciate you. Isabel started saying, "this is the best dinner, mom", which made me feel really good. Now she says it at every meal. Maybe I really am that amazing!
LOL. Cute. I love when they do that. One night M just looked at me and said Mom I sure love you. Felt good.
That is too cute! Sorry it's taken me forever to write and sorry we missed you guys over the holidays...it was crazy, I should have realized you'd probably be in Poky too. Let me know if you guys are coming up again, we'll have to get together. hugs!
That's so cute! I don't think I'll ever see the day that Chloe thinks me for dinner. She usually runs away when I say it's time for dinner. haha. We saw Kevin and the girls on a walk last night. Little Emmas was so cute riding her tricycle.
