Emma's Birthday

Emma turned four on April 25th, which was a Sunday. It would have been just fine, but we came home from church to see this out our front window. It was the little girl's birthday that lives next door to us. Emma was devistated. We tried really hard to hide it, but she found it. :( Try explaining to a four-year-old about keeping the Sabbath day holy. Thanks a lot neighbor for making MY birthday girl feel like her birthday wasn't as special. :( Here is the birthday girl! She informed me the next morning that she can pour her own cereal because she is four!
We had the girls cover their eyes for more birthday surprises. I thought it was so cute!

The 'hit' of the party was my old toys! I brought a few of my toys home with me from my parents house. This is a Rainbow Bright set. Do you remember those? My kiddos love them!

Here is the 'princess' cake that was requested. It may have been a bit of a train wreck (it is supposed to be a castle if you couldn't tell :) but our little princess didn't seem to mind.

Attacking the cake! The girls just ate the cones off the top. They loved it.

Below is a video of blowing out the candles. If you can sit through our singing it is hilarious because Cami blows out Emma's cake. Followed by a meltdown! It is hard when it is not your birthday.

This video is of Camilla singing Happy Birthday to Emma. It is really cute!

How sad about the blow-up thing! Looks like she recovered though. Rainbow Bright is awesome!

How cute! I can't believe Emma is 4 now! Yes, Maya plays with one of my Rainbow Bright dolls too. It is way fun to get out my old toys and let Maya play with them. BTW, you are looking too cute and trendy. :) I have just one more week at Cole's - I'm going to miss it. And 3 more weeks til' the new babe. :)

I think her cake looks cute! That stinks about the jumper. YOu weren't joking when you said it was right outside your window! Poor Emma. Tell her she should be expecting a package from Jacob this week. I'll call you to try and figure out about the necklaces you want before I send it. OH... and Tanner and I are looking at those flowers tonight. Promise. :)

Oh that is sooo cute... c@ant believe she is 4 and cam is 2. Kids grow so fast. That really sucks about that wicked lady at the zoo haha. And the fact that that jumpy was right next door and it was on her bday. What are the odds. Cute pics.
