I feel like I have to post something. I am so disappointed with California this week. One judge can revoke Prop 8? Seriously? Mostly I am upset with all the CRAP that is on facebook about it. So this is what I stand for
http:// http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/eng/news-releases-stories/religious-freedom Oh and I agree with this too
http://http://newsroom.lds.org/ldsnewsroom/eng/news-releases-stories/church-statement-on-proposition-8-ruling To me this isn't a political debate, it is a moral debate. Last thing I am going to say, people are going to do what they are going to do. Don't teach my children about it!

I felt sad about it, too. Crazy that one man can have that much power. Hopefully this will be resolved the right way.
good thing is that is was "overturned" but the law is still in affect in CA until it gets a decsion from the supreme court. My friend who is a really brilliant attorney told me the San Francisco Judge that "overturned" it is a homosexual himself. Talk about a conflict of interest and a gross abuse of power. I too am so sick of the things that are said on f.b. If you are for prop 8, how dare we say anything "for" it. If you are against it, sky is the limit. Such a double standard. Hope you guys are doing well! -Mitch
