Thanks a lot!

Dear Mr. Jerk-
Thanks a lot for stealing my husband's bike yesterday. We really appreciate it. This wouldn't be as big of a deal if this had been a first offense. But alas, you were in Utah with us too and there confiscated a much beloved Gary Fisher.
I had hope that the 10 commandments were still alive and well, you know THOU SHALT NOT STEAL!!!! But apparently you are one of those people who thinks that 'its just my life, I can do what I want.'
Your charming decisions have affected our family. My husband was trying to save money by not having to pay to part at the train station everyday. And was getting exercise by riding a mile to and from BART everyday.
Thanks for stealing his graduation present. I hope it was worth it.
Sincerely,
A very ticked off wife!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving. It is a day to remember all the many blessings that we have been given. I just want to list a few.
I am thankful for my husband. He is such a great guy! I feel so blessed to have him in my life. He works so hard to support us. I should also add that we are very grateful to have a job during these uncertain times. Kevin is such a great daddy. We love ya babes!
I am thankful for two healthy and beautiful girls. They are my joy! They always keep me laughing.
And as we are away from Idaho and both our families, we are thankful for family!!!! We are so grateful to everyone who let us live with them this last summer. We love you all and miss you!
We are also thankful for great friends. We miss all of you and wish we could see you and catch up!
We are so grateful for technology so we can keep up with everyone who is far away from us right now.
And we are so grateful for an awesome aunt and uncle (Cynthia and Byron) for letting us come and spend the holidays with them. We love having family close by!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Help fellow bloggers!

So blogging friends, I am trying to change my background and I am having some difficulties. Every background I choose shows up close up on my blog. It only shows a the middle section of the background. Does that make sense? For example, the background I have up now is supposed to have snowflakes around it. Does anyone know how to fix this? Let me know!

Random Stuff

Alas, my bathroom will never look like this.Instead, it looks like this. Camilla found my eyeliner pencil and drew all over the mirror. Gotta love toddlers.I have tried starting preschool at my house with Emma. Camilla has to do everything Emma does so I am doing it with both of them. I am not very good at it, nor persistant enough. This was our first day. We have started refinishing some furniture. We got two dressers for the girls before we moved. This one was painted all blue. Here is the finished project. Thanks Kevin for all your hard work. Only one more dresser to go. (It is green. :)

Confessions of a Three-Year-Old

The other day Emma tells me, "Mom, I want a baby. (Meaning a real baby not a baby doll) You can get one for 5 bucks." If only....

And I keep forgetting to post that, our first week here, we had an earthquake! It wasn't a bad one, like a 3.1 or something. But we felt it and it scared me! Welcome to CA!

You know your cool when.....

You know your cool when....

You go to church an hour early (actually 10 minutes after the hour because we are always late) because you forgot about daylight savings time ending.

You go to a Halloween party looking like this.
Being a princess is all you ever dream about. Here Emma is being Giselle and singing ah ah ah from her tower. Love it! Below is Emma wearing her princess hair.

You actually have hair. Poor Cami is still called a boy because she has so little hair. This is what she would look like if she had hair.
You shouldn't have hair. This is my bro obviously having too much fun with my girls' play hair.
When you get to ride a horse for the day. (Even if it is fake)
When ALL you have been doing is vinyl. This is all the extra vinyl from doing my mom's Super Saturday. And I am done! So if anyone is looking for vinyl, I now have time. :)
Caught in the act! This is my sis, not me. Love ya Cease! You have the cutest girls in the world! Aren't they just fun princesses? We love them!

Flashback Camping

The summer started off with a great idea from Kevin's sister, Kim. Let's go camping! We went to Scout Mountain, a favorite place to camp in Pocatello. It was a lot of fun. And really cold! On the drive up, we went through some snow. That is camping in Idaho in May for ya. Needless to say, we were less prepared than we should have been. So we zipped two sleeping bags together and all four of us piled in. The kids slept and we layed there. :)
Here is Camilla playing in the dirt, a little unsure of herself. In our tent! The girls loved playing in the tent.

Cami in the tent. (She has grown up so much since then.) :(

Sitting around the campfire. I love Emma's smile (or fake smile) here.

Playing in the woods.

Cami hates to get dirty. So she is tolerating it. This is a typical face for Camilla.

A much happier Cami. How can you resist this face?

This video makes me laugh. Cami found a little hill and would crawl up it and slide down on her belly. Cami had a funny way of crawling then, we called it the stink bug crawl. She would get up on her feet and walk with her hands and feet. You will see in the video. The stinker just didn't want to walk.
