We have made it to CA! After a very long and difficult move, we have arrived. So our moving day consisted of packing up in Idaho Falls at Kevin's sister's house, packing up at my brother's house in Pocatello and packing up at my parents. Then we drove 3 hours to UT to pack up our storage unit. A suggestion: when moving, have your stuff in ONE place. :) We are so thankful to everyone who helped us out during our move. (And thanks Wilkins for letting us show up late, late, late.) And thanks to my bro for all his help with the move too!It was an interesting move. We haven't lived outside of Utah or Idaho while we've been married. There were tears shed as we left. We will miss everyone!
During our move (which was 12 hours or more with potty stops :) we stopped at the salt flats. I thought it looked so cool. And the girls loved running around.
Once we got here, the unpacking started (and continues!) Don't you wish you were in this move?
My brother drove out with us to help with the move. My brother's last day here, we decided to do some sight seeing. We went down to the bay and saw the Golden Gate bridge. It was so cold, but we were excited to see the ocean!
Rich was a little scared of the CA traffic. :)
We drove ALL over San Fran to find the 49ers stadium. My bro is a die-hard! Thanks again Rich for all your help!
Since I have dropped off of the face of the blogging world, by suggestion, I am going to do a post once a week with random activities from my 6 month absence. So here goes:
We also played at the park earlier that day with some Provo friends. I didn't get very many pics from the day. But here is a picture of Emma with Jacob. He is the boy that Emma says she is going to marry. :) I love it! We believe in arranged marriages and know that they would have NO in-law problems!

So here goes:The weekend before we moved was my mission reunion. I really wanted to go since I don't know when I will be in Utah again during conference weekend. It was so fun to see old missionaries I served with. I was disappointed that more of us can't get together. We are all spread over the U.S. now, so it makes it hard. I visited with the Bennions (one of the senior couples I served with) and Tasha. It was so good to catch up. And to all MIM the Bennions say 'HI!'

SO glad you made it safe! The picture of your brother all strapped in made me laugh out loud. I got kinda teary eyed seeing a picture of the Bennions.....it has been way to long. Glad you'll be keeping in touch a little better:)
Yay! An update! I'm glad you're finally moved and that you got all your stuff. :) I love the pic of you all pooped with the boxes. You're so long and skinny--it's adorable! I wish I could have seen you, Tasha and the Bennions. I miss going to things like that. I'll look forward to your weekly updates! :)
Yea, you made it. You made it through the summer and now to CA. ( I know there's lots of work to do still). Fun to hear from you again. Sorry we missed seeing you when you came to town, we couldn't make it that day.

Jen!!! So glad you made it to CA! What an exhausting move. I'm sure it's so nice to feel somewhat settled. I'm SOOOO bummed I missed the playgroup with you a few weeks ago. That was the worst day ever! My kids were puking everywhere and it was Chris's birthday and we had to can all of our plans. Ugh!Anyway, enough complaining! I hope you guys love SF! It's so gorgeous and so much to do....oh, and NO SNOW!!!!!!! I told chris if I have to live in Utah, I demand at least 2-3 trips to a warm climate each winter. haha. We'll see if that actually happens. That said, we might be coming your way soon!
