Family Fun Weekend

Having girls is a blast. I turned the corner one day to find this waiting for me. Apparently someone wishes they were Sleeping Beauty. (Or as Emma says it, Sleeping Booty) My favorite is the wig and crown addition.

At a friend's suggestion we went to G & M Farms this weekend. They have a huge pumpkin patch and corn maze. And lots of other fun activities! Here we were posing at a height chart. I can't believe that Emma is probably close to 3 feet. (or maybe over)They had heads to pose in. Cami was mooing the whole time. It was funny.
Here we are at the hay maze. They have tunnels and a maze that you can walk around made of hay bales. My girls loved it.
They have a sandbox but it is full of big hard kernels of corn. So much fun! And not as messy as sand, but we still found corn in the diapers.
They have a play area that has kernals as the ground covering. Cami loves to swing.

We found a tire swing too. When Emma asked for another push, Cami pushed her shoulder. It was funny.

And they were excavating the corn.
The final event was Emma riding a pony. She picked the biggest one and had a blast! No fear, that's my girl!
That night we had a trunk-or-treat for our church. Our girls dressed up as princesses. Cami wanted to be a Barbie. Aren't we a little young for that? Emma couldn't decide between a nice spider and Sleeping Beauty. A nice spider? What is that? They had so much fun. Cami would hold out her hand and say 'peez.' And last, but not least, this movie is hilarious! Kev, reliving his past, decided to take the girls for a ride. This was an evening activity that was a hit! And no one was injured mom and dad. And the post below is a flashback from the summer. I plan on doing one post a week to catch up what we missed in 6 months.
