Tribute to a Two-year old!

I decided after having a crazy day yesterday, I would dedicate this entry to my darling two-year-old. My grandma always says that this is her favorite stage. Somedays I wonder. And after cleaning up an entire bag of gold fish today, I was wondering to myself, what happened to the days when she could just sit up (not crawl) and not get into anything. So here are a few pictures to celebrate what life is like with a two-year-old.
Clothes...who needs em? Is getting your two-year-old dressed a challenge to anyone else?
Bubbles! Emma is obsessed with bubbles. So this is about the only way I can get dishes done. Give her a pile and strap her in her high chair. :)
And with two comes potty training. We'll just say "or not." We are trying, but with little success. Instead, Emma has learned how to take off her diapers and then has an accident in her bed. With as hard as this is, I wonder how any of us made it through potty training.
And let's not forget how fun it is when they get into things. Especially mom's make-up. At least she knows that mascara goes on the eyes.
At the end of the day, we are just so glad that she is cute! And so full of energy. I guess that is what makes life interesting. And on those less than interesting days that she might be doing some of the above mentioned discresions, you may want to check Craig's list for her.
Just in fairness to Emma, we thought we would show Camilla in her true form also. :)

Those are some cute girls. I know what you mean about getting dishes done. I have to find anything interesting to hold their attention while they are in there highchairs so I can clean the kitchen without them undoing everything I'm trying to do. I love your pics from the canyon. You are an adorable family!!

SO CUTE! I know, easy for me to say. I am just discovering what having a mobile child does to my ability to get housework done. She always has to have something to do if I'm going to get anything done. Your girls are so cute, and great pictures!

Thanks for making good humor of the things that can somewhat stress us mothers out at times.

Wow! I totally needed to read your blog today. I've been feeling like Ellee is the only child that is into EVERYTHING!!! It seems like everyone, but me, has perfect angels. So, reading about Emma made me smile and realize that I'm sure a lot of it is just the age. I'm thinking I need to do a blog about all the stuff Ellee's into lately...cuz, I'd rather laugh about it than cry!

And, bytheway...your girls are SOOO cute! I often tell Ellee that it's a good thing she's cute and funny...or I don't know what I'd do! :)

That was my favorite blog so far...makes me miss Emma, eventhough she is getting into trouble! I LOVED the picture of her with mascara!! Save that for her wedding slideshow:)
That is an innovative way to get dishes done but I can say that there is life after "doing dishes in the sink"...our dishwasher is AMAZING! I can save doing dishes until naptime and it doesn't take the whole 2 hour block. Well, keep on updating us on your girls!

It is fun to see the little things that you get to do all day. Tanner is going on 20 months now, and we are starting to have trouble keeping his clothes on too.
