So I don't even know if jinxed is a word, but according to Kevin, I make up words anyways. Well Camilla has not really slept since I posted my blog about success. Darn! And Emma now prefers her crib. She asks to sleep in her crib instead of her big-girl bed. We then tell her that the crib is a baby bed and she doesn't want to sleep in a baby bed. She then replies with "yes, baby bed...crib" (which is more like trib). So to help her with her transition, we bought those plastic safety doorknobs. We also put one on the front door since she can unlock the deadbolt. Well it took Emma about 10 minutes to learn how to open her bedroom door with the safety doorknobs on. She is too smart for her own good. So wish us luck on the future success (hopefully) of our girls sleeping.

I understand what your going through. We installed safety things on all of our doors and they both figured them out about 10minutes after we got them on. The sad part is they are the kind that you have to remove the whole doorknob to install them. So I guess all that work was for nothin!!
We are hoping to transition Tanner to a "big-boy bed" around his second birthday. You have got me nervous now! Good luck, and I hope you get some sleep.
Good luck getting everyone in the right beds! We're still trying to get Levi to sleep in his crib (yeah, he's 17 months old). We can see our lives 10 years from now with 4 kids in our bed. Are we suckers or what?!
How did I not know you had a blog? I got pics in email but somehow missed you had a blog. I have some catching up to do!
That's happens with Libby too. Whenever I say she is sleeping well she stops. I think Satan hears our happiness when we say it out loud and he figures its an easy way to make us unhappy.
Malachi was in a big boy bed at 9 months. He was walking and the babysitter had him sleep in one starting at six months. We still kept the crip up and used it off and on too but he really didn't like either one. Now he sleeps in a double and does great and he finally sleeps by himself. It was a lot of work but I am so happy to have him on his own bed.
